Aside from the exciting championship games, the Super Bowl is well-known for some of the best commercials coming from brands. Twitter is celebrating the cream of the crop with its #BrandBowl52 Awards.
#BrandBowl52: Recognizing the best Super Bowl ads
Twitter will be awarding the best Super Bowl ads in four different categories:
- #MVP: The brand that will get the highest percentage of brand-related tweets during the event.
- #Blitz: The brand with the most tweets per minute.
- #QuarterBack: The brand that receives the most retweets for a single Super Bowl tweet.
- #Interception: The brand that has no national TV spot which manages to get the highest percentage of conversions.
Winners from each category will win a host of exclusive ad products and consumer research packages from Twitter. Additionally, they will be featured in BuzzFeed News’ AM to DM live morning show and will receive custom trophies for their advertising departments.

Winners will receive prize packages similar to those received by those in the major categories.

This will make them eligible for prize considerations, and to be included in the “Super Subscribe Moment.” Only those who have national TV spots airing between the pre-game coin toss and the final whistle will be eligible for the main categories.
